Ladies and gents, let me just say: I am a changed woman! As a kid, growing up in Arizona, rodeo horse people were always around. Every town has a history of cowboys and outlaws. But I never got into it, never went full country. No, it took me time to age and mature. It took years of dealing with LA boys to realize what we really need is a good cowboy. Someone who is chivalrous, calls, brings flowers, holds the door open. Someone who looks at you with that look. The look where you might just be the most beautiful thing he's ever seen. And sure, he wants to put you on your knees… but in a respectful way. He will worship you. And if he doesn't, his mama will give him a woopin’. God! That's what we're actually looking for…
So in my advanced years of wisdom (23), I have realized that country music has the best love songs, ranches are beautiful, and always “save a horse, ride a cowboy”!!!!
So what did I do? Well, I got my ass in gear and read the Chestnut Springs series!
For all my besties who have no idea what that is: It's Elsie Silver's beloved cowboy romance series. The series follows the Eton family, a family with 4ish brothers and a tag-along, who all find love. There is a sexy bull rider, a sexy single dad, a sexy hockey player, another sexy bull rider, and oh, you guessed it, a sexy ex-special-ops soldier. Also, they all have a FINE-AS-HELL and hilarious dad, Harvey. The absolutely stellar and empowered women that come into their worlds toss them around, and make these cowboys lose control and fall in love!

I promise the Eton boys don't disappoint. They'll have you wanting to move to Calgary in no time to find a husband.
But what about a good old rodeo chica? Well, Lyla Sage’s Rebel Blue Ranch series starts off with a kick ass Barrel Racer (it’s a rodeo horse racing sport). She's a cowgirl through and through and the stories about her family's ranch are nothing short of delicious.
Okay, well, I got to go.

Oh my God, so fun! I think, plot-wise, this book has the strongest plot-to-character-development ratio. Meaning there is a sub plot line that goes beyond the question “will they end up together?” Rhett’s bull ridinging career and its scandal, give us more story then just the romance. But the romance itself was so entertaining. Rhett and Summer are great together and I thought their banter was amazing. Two goofy firecrackers.

DADDY CADE!!!! The oldest Eton brother Cade is widely known as one of the best book boyfriends on the market. He’s brooding, yet the tough shell always cracks for his son Luke. He loves his son fiercely and when Willa - Summer’s best friend and Luke’s new nanny - starts to love Luke, Cade’s fierce love extends to Willa. Willa and Cade’s chemistry is undeniable and watching Willa get under his skin and make a home there, was so much fun! 10 out of 10. Would read again!

Oh, it was so much fun to be in a cowgirl's head for this one. I love Clementine “Emmy” Ryder so much! She is fun, down to earth, and real. Watching her struggle with ADHD and PTSD was so relatable. And Luke is quite a man! This brother's-best-friend romance is steamy, slutty, and damn romantic! This book is also a shorter one, so it's the perfect quick read!
